The affordable Blackberry is here! The Samsung R355C is actually not a Blackberry although it does look like one and has many of the great features for a fraction of the cost. The CDMA Samsung R355C is NET10s first full (non slide) QWERTY keypad cell phone. It features a beautiful full color screen and a modern bar style. This phone is new to NET10 but has been sold by other carriers as the Samsung SCH-r350 Freeform for some time now so you know you are getting a proven cell phone. In addition, the phone comes loaded with features that previous Net10 phones have not had. Another great plus is that the R355C will more than likely be offered with the reduced Net10 text rates so this will make for one excellent texting phone!
Functionality
The navigation buttons are intuitive and easy to use. It features a large center OK key for easy menu and option selections, UP,DOWN ,LEFT,and RIGHT keys centered for convenience. Additionally, the 355 has a quick select speaker key on the left as well as a quick select camera button on the side right. The volume keys are beautifully placed on the right side for easy volume control while on speaker or mid call. 355 also features easy to use soft keys which change depending on the screen and menu being viewed. The best part of the 355 is the full QUERTY keypad for easy web browsing and texting.
Extras
In addition to being an excellent texting phone, the Samsung 355 also works as a standalone camera, and MP3 player which is well worth the price of the phone. You can expand the memory using a Mini SD card (some of these cards can store up to 16 Gigs of memory which translates to lots and lots of songs). Yet another awesome feature which is brand new to Net10, is the option to connect to your car via Bluetooth and listen to the callers so you don't have to look at your screen while you drive. Standard features include caller id, call waiting and voice mail. NET10 has done a great job adding this phone to it's already great list.
The Samsung R355C is one of the best phones Net10 has offered to date, topping the R451C and T401G. In summary, this will be one of the best Net10 phones for the price and extra features. It has everything you need and then some!

I've been keeping my eyes on Net10 but didn't make the swich until the R355 comes in the mix. I'm very happy with the phone - great for texting and the $50 monthly saving!
SCH-R355C contact in transfers
I now have the SCH-R355C from ST. I need to transfer in my contacts from a LG Fusic.
What Cell Bright or industry interface machines will allow transfer in of contact lists/phone numbers? I need help, I need to steer my unaffiliated cell phone shop towards the answers.

The r355c
This is a great cell phone. No contract and this phone makes texting so easy. That is the great part and no worrying about going over on my minutes. This is the best plan and I have not found a place yet that this phone doesn't have service. YAH!!!!
sounds great
the phone i have is awful.i can be setting in the house and mine will say no service.i hate this phone Motorola EM326.they send a 2gb card with it and guess what no place to put it.i cant afford that phone.this phone makes me wish i could afford a contract phone.really.

I love this phone. I've been eyeing Net10 for quite sometime now but finally made the switch when I discovered the R355C is in the mix. I'm very happy with the phone and the service and price from Net1o!
